I drive a huge truck that gets horrible gas mileage, and guess what I LOVE IT. But I'm not retarded, I drive it as little as possible. Still, no one is ever going to get me to give it up just because gas is expensive.

Just expect prices to raise even more in the coming months. Since Katrina hit prices along the east coast have soared to $5 a gallon in some places.

I have no problem with riding my bike, or any other means. Half the time my car sits in the driveway as is. Alot of times, its easier to not drive the car, with the hassle of finding a parking spot and what not.

As far as running out of gas? Who knows, sure its a possibility. Though there are some oil spots I believe up in Alaska I think it is, that envriomentalist wont let us touch, yet they want to keep driving their cars im sure.

Theres also other resources out there. Like I mentioned before, sunlight being one of those. Perhaps not as efficient as gas, im not sure as I haven't done the research myself personally...I do know it is an option though.

My science teacher yapped on all last year about how in my lifetime there will be no more gas. The human race will need to figure out some other way to transport. It blows my mind, although with some of the young minds out there I think it can be done. I just hope it happens before we run out of gas

Yeah, you split water and use Hydrogen.. Even though it isn't the easiest, there's definatly more water than there is oil on the earth.
