I would figure it to be higher in places like California and New York...

Guys post where you live and the price of gas, I'm curious to see the prices around the country.
Here in Fort Wayne, IN, it is $3.21 (at one place I looked at on my way home).

Sorry if someone posted, but wasnt this because one of the major oil plants was damaged by the hurricane? I dunno not sure about that but I think thats why. And yea, soon gas will cost more than a car :(

It's $2.99 here, at least until tomorrow. Dropped $41.15 to fill the tank in my car tonight....... from what one of my relatives was saying, it's $6.90 in Alabama.

Honestly, it's 2005. It'd be pretty emerassing riding a bike to work. Plus, some people might work really far and if you need to get to work quick I don't think a bike is going to work.

Here near the San Fran area in San Francisco, prices went up 20 cents within a day or two, we are up to over 3 bucks a gallon for the premium ec stuff and running around 2.80 for the cheapest stuff.

The hurricane in New Orleans has defienetly affected the gas prices. Unfortunately thats just one of many affects the hurricane has had (and im certainly not saying its the most important, or that im not woried about people down there).

Gas prices have been on a steady climb for some time now anyways, its not like them hitting this high was any suprise, we all knew it was coming eventually. Theres alternatives out there, though not as convienent, still alternatives. We have this nifty thing called public transportation now.
