Gamerenders Sig Of The Month

Here at GameRenders we like to encourage competition between the members especially in the Photography, Sig Of The Week and Battle Arena to name a few, so to hopefully further this a little we are introducing Sig Of The Month. Sig Of The Month will work pretty much exactly as what the sotw currently does but once a month and with less members joining it, it pretty much works as an extra incentive for placing in the top 3 each week within each month of the year in the sotw.

So, placing in the top 3 in the sotw competition will gain you entry into sotm with the chance to win more creds and pretty much bragging rights for that month. the top 3 each week for 4 weeks can enter and will be listed and then having the staff vote on those 12 or less signatures to find the best of the whole month(there will be themed sotm's)

Rules:

The rules for this will be the same as the current sotw rules, which are as followed.(May change at any time)

These are the Sig Of The Week Rules.

Rules regarding "Entry Thread".

• 1. Please read these rules before you enter the competition.
• 2. Each week there will be a set theme , this will be displayed in the "Entry Thread".
• 3. A list of prizes , that can be won will be displayed in the "Entry Thread".
• 4. A list of anyone "Disqualified" will be put in the "Entry Thread".
• 5. If your name is on the "Disqualified List" you cannot enter the following Sig Of The Week.
• 6. Make sure you have 100 posts before you enter. Ruby, Diamond, and Platinum Members are exempt from rule 6.
• 7. When you reply in the "Entry Thread" you must "Attach" your signature to that post.
• 8. No replies are allowed without an "Attached" entry.
• 9. No images of an adult nature will be permitted, this is not a porn site.
• 10. You may only submit 1 signature , no multiple posts are allowed. If you want to do another signature , you will need to re-edit your original post.
• 11. Entering under multiple usernames is an automatic BAN.
• 12. Every sig must contain your gamerenders username, this is to prevent ripping.
• 12a. The name must be the main text on the sig. If you have a title on the sig, your name must be the same size or larger. We don't want to strain to see your name.
• 12b. We accept initials in your signature ie : Back From The Past , we will accept BFTP.
• 13. You may not reserve a spot in the "Entry Thread". If you post in the SOTW "Entry Thread" without attaching a sig (edits do not count either) you will be warned, fined 50 credits and you will be automatically disqualified from that weeks competition.
• 14. Breaking any of the rules will result in disqualification.
• Once the "Entry Thread" is closed , a member of staff compiles the list of valid entries and disqualifications , then it`s transfered to where all staff of GR vote on who they think is the best.
• Once the winner and 2 runner ups are decided the "Winner Thread" is made.
• A discussion thread is created with the "Entry Thread".
• This is put up so nobody has to post in the "Entry Thread".
• Discuss your entries or remark on others entries .
• No flaming or spamming will be tolerated. Fines/suspensions or bans are in effect.
• If your not too sure on something ,then this is the place to ask.
• If someone has made a mistake , you may either ,
• Pm that person , letting them know there`s a problem ,
• Post in the discussion thread, pointing it out or
• Pm the staff member who set up the competition.
• The SOTW competitions are run by GR.
• The rules are always up for change if we feel it`s needed or necessary.
• The Staffs word is always final.

yes m8, but i may do themed ones every so often which will mean new entries

Rule #7 says attachment to thread, but in the other rules it states you have to code the URL with the image tags. Just wondering...

 

if you look at the date on which both were done...

 

yeh with the new rule posted by Bandits that will take over the attachment part.

 

Surly taking the best 3 of each week would mean that the tags that came second and third in one week cant possibly come higher than the tag that beat them that week.

So why not just take the winner of each week?

 

there will be themed ones, so it wont be like that.

taking one winner seems a bit odd imo, but the 3 winners from each sotw for every month means more competition..

 

i think the larger competition is better, more variety and more styles ^_^ i better start making some good sigs if i ever wanna place in sotw to even make it to this xD
