Hi all, I have created two basic search plug-ins for the GameRenders forums for Firefox.
The first one will search all forums of GR. The second will only search the Renders forum, very handy when searching for renders.

Unzip the files and place them in the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins directory

To use: Select the GR icon, type your search, and press enter.
    (example of Renders Forums only)

Notice the icon with the lines, it’s the search all forums icon.

The search is designed to search all dates, show as post, and search either all forums in GR or all forums under Renders depending which icon you select.

If you find any bugs, let me know.

    Thanks

No, I'm not aware of any problems. What is it doing? PM a screen shot to me and I'll take a look. Both searches work find for me.

BTW - when I use the serach, I like to bring up a new tab and search from it, that way I don't lose my spot.

    Thanks

Well, here's the deal. With FF 1.0.6, the "Show results as posts" would show the entire post with any posted pictures. This make it very handy to find pictures without actually opening the post. This is what I based the search on. With FireFox 1.0.7, for some reason it no longer shows the entire post or the pictures within the post. I'm not sure if they've done something to the forum or if it's an issue with the new FireFox. But until we're able to view the entire post when using the "Show results as posts" function, we're kind of stuck. I'll do some research to see if this issue has been addressed.

If you're still using 1.0.6, it should work.
