Gamerenders // Ripping Renders

Oh another thing, dont even start me on those brushpacks, they are as worse as stealing renders , that Jessie Boi needs some serious help. And all the shops NEED to be closed, I bet WurklasH or Nickmeister or any other guy wants his bushes in a brushpack for the masses.

 

I feel ya on that issue. I pm'ed him about my brushes and he paid me aa nice little sum of gr creds. But still, it would be nice for people to just check the link to devart page in my sig every once in a while for my latest brushes.

As for the render situation...what about googled pics that come from some random website? Are they permissable?

 

But thoose gamecompanies that (knock on wood) would complain about a pic ripped and put in a sig would loose more on it then he would gain. It is FanArt.

If you put up you brushes for easy download and dont have anything about that you cant download them you pnly have the download button for fun...then WTF!

 

Stfu, you dont know Jack ---- about brushes, all of those artists are from DA. They have webpages there with all there brushes you are supposed to download them from THERE , Jesse -boi and whoever does this ---- are stealing them from them , doesnt matter if they give credit to the original artists . If he didnt contact EVERYONE on his list and asked him for permission he cannot legally use them . I hope the mods read this ...

 

I always thought artist wanted people to use their brushes, if not they should protect their ---- better and dont put it online for download...and you dont have to be so rude about it. keep your brushes for yourself then I dont care, dont complain ffs, be nice instead and people will respect you for your talent... instead for dissing you cuz your an a-hole.

That is why I had links to your DA pages. But that thread died faster than anything. I figured it would help people, but they still continue to "buy" the pack. I mean are they really going to use ALL of the brushes in the packs? I dont think so. I provided the links so you can choose which ones you think you will use and to post a comment on their page letting the artist know you d/l them.

I would have pinned it but didnt have the creds at the time to do so.

 

FroSty - I am sorry to pronounce that your philosphy kinda sucks balls in my opinion... sorry :/ This is not about attention or anything, I am not that good of a brushmaker but I dont want my brushes distributed around some crappy gfx sites without my knowledge, it might bring me some popularity but I think at the end it just makes it worse.
Like the wurklash tech brushes, you can see them at almost ever ----ing crappy tech sig, they are so whored, also the splatter, I can almost name every brushset when I see a simple ass sig. :/
Its not about protecting , some brush makes do NOT want theyr ---- on every little gfx site included in a pack with other brushes...this is my philosophy and Im sure that in your eyes it sucks balls too...

If they dont want their ---- on every gfx site then they should not make their ---- availble for download it is as simple as that. If you wana keep the things you have made then fine it is your right to do so. But if I for example makes a bursh and post it on let say DA and provide a download link...how the fudge can I afterward complain if people downloaded and used my brush???? I dont get it if you dont want other people to have your brushes dont post them and make them availble for download! I doubt that people have hacked in to your computer and stolen the brushes. And when you distribute your brushes you cant say I just want this and that site to use them...cuz that would be impossible...

I respect if you wanna keep yoor stuff for yourself but it is a simple as I have said before, dont make it possible for download, okey?

See, when people put up brushes on dA, they are meant to be downloaded only there. Not some other site, but in dA where the person made them available. They can't be redistributed without the brush maker's permission.
What Phat Albert did was a great thing, link to the artist's pages.

 

kk, I see it is fair enough but getting irritaited/pissed over that your brushes gets downloaded from otherplaces will only give yourself an gastric ulcer...since when something is online it will spread very fast and people will have no idea where it orignally came from...so the only way to stop that abuse of brushes is to stop making brushes cuz I dont think it will stop...always people 2 lazy to read this.
