    i have a router too, didn't have to add ports, check some firewalls. Disable the windows one maybe?

    Also if it don't work on there, download the mIRC client and use that, it may be easier to use in the long run anyway :)

    i was in for a bit....with my old username i had peoblems....i dunno..cause it had a dot in front mabye...who knows...hope ur problems get fixed soon

    i was on yesterday, its sad really, 30k users at GR and there were 5 on irc

    i got this.........

    As a security countermeasure, all clients connecting from *@*.comcast.net are now required to give a valid ident response on connect. If you use mIRC, open mIRC options, select Connect -> Identd -> Enable Identd server. You may also need to unblock external/internet port 113 in your software or hardware firewall and/or forward it..

    I say that we get a Deviant-Art chatroom setup. I made one just using my username it takes about 5 minutes to make and all you need to do is be registered on DevArt.

    THEY don't like my IP... they won't let me in they blocked people from comcast.net...


    ME TOO join the club... I mentioned this SOOO long ago, find another server PLEASE!!! either that or try to help me, I tried to get it to work in chatzilla, X-chat AND MIRC but it eouln'dt and I even DLed and extra file for chatzilla and installed it.

    I'm trying to access via mIRC, but I can't find the server irc.quakenet.org anywhere. Could you gimme a hand?
