    Forum Rules (for a complete list view Gr forum rules)
    • No adult (sexual of any nature) content on the website; rather discussing or linking.
    • No warez; rather discussing, linking, or suggesting.
    • No foul language; keep it PG.
    • Do not spam; keep on topic, do not try to get your post count or credits up by posting useless replies to topics/or posting topics.
    • No reputation abuse; reputation is a way to judge a persons character on the forum. Worthless [minus] or [positive] reputations will be removed, and fines, suspensions, or even bans will be given out.
    • Racism is not tolerated on this forum, and removal of the person in question will be the end action of such remarks.
    • No begging (asking) for credits, reputation, or inactive account(s).
    • Do not respond to Ripper and/or Scammer Reporting threads unless you are: staff, person who posted the thread, person being accused in the thread. You WILL be fined 500 credits for ever post made and will receive a warning in such topics this now includes the Rep Abuse forum.
    • You cannot render images from deviantART, CG Talk or other copyright protected sites. You must show the original image when posting a render, and it must be cut by you.
    • Do not sell items that you do not own or that you do not have permission to sell. In the case of brush & render packs, you must have permission from the original creator to redistribute them.
    • GAMERENDERS accounts: You cannot sell or trade a GameRenders account unless it was registered before Februari, 2006. No exceptions!
    • If your account is banned, you are banned permanently. That doesn't mean to create another account. If you are found creating another account, that account will be banned as well. The same goes for suspensions.
    • Market place Rules
    • If an Auctioneer bumps an auction more then once a day, the auction is closed. This applies to all threads  one bump per day.
    • Do not post referral links anywhere outside of your profile, and they must not be masked.
    • No selling of passwords/or exploits; This includes selling info on how to gain unauthorised access to paid websites or anything else. Passwords such as the GR adult games password may not be sold.
    F.A.Q.

    Cant Access Premium Renders section
    • If you are seeing an error message when you try to enter the Premium Renders folder, then you have not made 60 posts in the last 40 days.
    • e.g.: today is the 15th of June. This means that you will need to have made 60 good posts since the 6th of May (i.e 40 days ago) to enter the Premium Renders section!
    • This is done to reward active members, not just members that get 60 posts to gain access then never bother to post again. For those of you that feel you cannot make this requirement, consider becoming a Premium member. Premium Members can avoid this restriction for just a $5 donation.
    • If you have any other queries about how to gain access to the Premium renders section then please PM a Global Moderator / admin, rather than making another thread about it.

    1. 500+ Posts
    2. 20 (+)Rep, and no more than 5 (-)Rep
    3. 250 Credit topic creation fee per each site (topics will remain as long as the links are active and the site poses no threat to GR, or any other circumstance mentioned below). This credit fee is not applied onto the Platinum members.
    4. You must include one of the following banners, affiliate buttons, or a link to GameRenders on your site. (see link above)
    5. Each member can request a MAXIMUM of 3 sites in total be active in the advertising at any one time. This is to help prevent members from asking/hiring other members to ask for a topic to be opened for themselves, when they themselves do not meet the requirements above.

    • You are allowed to sell credits yourself but the ratio of 5$ for 1,000 credits must always be applied!
    How to start a Crew on GR
    • In order to start a crew, the leader must have at least 35 positive reputation, and no more then negative 5 reps total.
    • The leader must have at least 1,500 posts.
    • You must appoint a Co-leader.
    • A 3,000 credit crew creation fee.
    • To gain approval for a crew at GameRenders, you must agree to not create any outside site(s) for any sort of purpose, except for a deviantArt account and chatroom.
      No topics mentioning a crew, for recruiting purposes or to see who would be interested in joining, are allowed without prior moderator or administrator approval.
      (with exception for the recruitment forum of course)
    • Complete rules and regulations can be read here.
    • If any of the rules are broken, the leader & co-leader will be held responsible for the punishment. These will vary from a warning to being banned.

    Common sense

    Basic rendering rules
    Before posting a render you must make sure you
    • [*] Provide a link to the original render
    • Have permission if needed to be able to cut it out from original.
    • Link to the ORIGINAL site where you found the stock image. (no imageshack, photobucket, ...)
    Full Rights / Learning Rights
    • When selling a .Psd, always clearly state in your topic for which rights you are selling. (Full rights, Learning rights, …)
    • stealing and using a Learning rights .Psd and saying it’s yours can result in a warn/fine/potential ban. DO NOT STEAL OTHER’S ARTWORK!
