Well, I can do a few things. This server is one of the best ones out there. I can add more memory, but not sure if that will help. I can also get another server and just split the forum, as in have what you see here(images, text, users, the website itself) on this box that we are on now and put just the database(mysql) on the new box. Of course this is more money then getting more memory, but the memory is not a sure thing if that would help. The moving of the database to its own box is.

Getting another server and splitting the forum will definetly help if it hasn't been done so yet.
Hope to see this get implimented soon.

Connection problems, and it'll also stop rips and tutorial postings form lowly 'guests' who roll in and out.

I really hope, as well, that the change is made.

Shaggy, the only way that splitting the forum from the database would speed the forum up is if the two computers are TB-LAN-linked and have multiple persistent connections. Otherwise, splitting will cause a much larger slowdown.

What are the current system specs of the server? Maybe I can spot a bottleneck or something.
