Less than $50, and I doubt that's what they meant when they said it's expensive. You have to pay monthly, I believe, which is no fun. If you want an MMO, and don't want to pay, I'd say Guild Wars. But, as far as MMOs go, I'd stay clear from them. Honestly, I've been addicted to Guild Wars and broke the habit a month or two again. Let's just say it was a dark period in my life. >_> Halo PC is fun, especially if you have friend's that play it/friend's over and you take turns. But really other than that, I don't PC game at all.
u can get F.E.A.R. Combat. its coming out free on august 17. its the full multiplayer version of fear.
hes prolly already played Kh2 on the ps2. Anyway: Strategy games: Command and Conquer, Warcraft, Starcraft RPG: Diablo 2, WoW, Guild Wars (diablo 2 isnt exactly an MMORPG) Shooters: Counterstrike, Unreal Tourny, Halo (tho i dont see wat all the fuss is about halo) racing? Dont EVER get racing games. they suck for pc users least games like NFS most wanted dont lilve up to par with the graphics of a ps2 version u can always go emulator for the old classic games on SNES, Gameboy and such
I say get Day of Defeat:Source...because that is what I play and I think it is a BA game...other than that: Quake 4, F.E.A.R., Call of Duty 2, Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2(so you can get mods like The Hidden and stuff like that), and Diablo 2 is really good as well.
If you're into shooting games I'd suggest Battlefield 2 + expansion packs, or even Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. I saw a demo of it for the comp and it was insanely good. Graphics were incredible ( on a good video card ^_^ ) If not CS is the way to go.
