Game Making Programs

    Hi, i need to do a long school project, i am maby choosing "Making a game" as subjects, and i would like to know programs (such as rpg maker or gamemaker) or ways you know for making games. I dont care if they are difficult to use, i got a full year to finish it.

    P.D: if you have better ideas to do the school project related to computers or games, please say them

    Well u have chosen the easy ones mate, the others kinda nead profesional coding :S Byond is mabee a good one http://www.byond.com/ dont expect to make a FF or CRYSIS game lmao, simple pokemon styled ;)

    Why don't you just learn how to program properly instead of using some ----ty WYSIWYG game maker...

    Whats the point, when a program does it for you? Plus, the software needed to code a game from scratch can be uber expensive; pointless for a school project.

    Game maker can create some cool games, for how simple it is.
