I know im new But i think it would be maybe a nice idea to have Galleries for users, Like DA. This would Declutter the forums. Maybe make The Communtity On GR Better and attract more people? Cheers for reading :lol:
we have a render gallery but thats it, i dont see GR having member galleries anytime in the near future.
I wasnt thinking of just render galleries. i was thinking of Overall galleries. With subcatagories etc. largely based on DA. I think it would bring so much to GR and would attract more people to sign up. It's nice to know that you do already have a render gallery, But not everyone makes renders, So where do they show Thier work? :tongue: I dont really know the downside.. But i spose maybe it would take longer for the site load or something =o cheers for the comments lads (y)
the downside would be that it probably wouldnt be used a lot. we have the sections where you can showoff your work already.
I think this would be nice for large art since the lp area on gr isnt that active as the tag section. Also have a limit on the file size like 2mbs per thing and up to so many submitted.
good idea on the limit mate that would certainly help outweih the bad point of a slowwer siht as uploads would be smaller.
Simply because of one big, huge, ginormous reason ; DeviantArt. Why bother with all the extra trouble of implementing a gallery system into GR when a far more advanced, globally known and respected gallery system is readily avalible via DA? Nobody would bother using it.
