Can't wait for the sequel to come out, love the film and the FX! Wonderful though the film had some weak points but I'm too lazy to list them all atm. SPOILER: The part I loved the most was when they chase the villains in Paris, their suits were awesome and all in all the who sequence was tremendous and they must have put in a lot of money to make that one.
The film looks like another popcorn film, but since it is GI Joe and I am not paying for my attendance, I will be seeing it later on tonight. I cannot say I have high expectations for it.
i had some low expectations going into it but i was pleasantly surprised. it has all the usual corny parts that you'd expect from a movie like this, but other than that it was pretty much.. amazing.
I got what I expected, an effects driven "popcorn" movie. Although I was disappointed how Sci-Fi it was, too much lasers and spaceships and not enough machine guns and soldiers.
When i seen the trailers i thought this is goin be another crappy remake that doesnt really connect with the old cartoons but this movie was really put together well and the paris scene was my favorite also
I refuse to watch this as they totally changed everything about gi joe.....they dont wear space suit things
Also watched this movie last week, and in my opinion; 1. The action was outstanding, so good 2. Storyline was good 3. Ending sucked >_> 4. 2 sides on the Sci-Fi fights.....lasers and stuff dont mather that much to me, can be cool...but I hate movies where people dont die from normal bullets.... I rate the movie an 8...
A lot people said the movie sucked. Given that I grew up watching G.I. Joe the story lacks and some say it was cheesy G.I. Joe was cheesy in the first place. However if I look at it just trying to watch something to pass time it wasn't too bad I actually liked Marlon playing Ripcord. But the Baroness without the accent is not the baroness that i knew(F in that aspect)
