ok, this all is really confusing, because ive been told now 2 diff things, i was told that you could sell your full rights to ONE other person, after that u have no claims to the peice of art, now if the buyer sells his full rights to ONE other person how does that affect anything. also it should not be the MODS job to track who has rights on PSDs its the buyer/sellers responsibility to hold evidence of the transaction

Let me give you a scenario that has happened on several occasions:

Creator creates a awesome PSD, and decides to sell off LEARNING RIGHTS to the PSD. He sells learning rights to 25 to 30 people, and then decides to auction off full rights to the PSD. In turn because of the popularity of the PSD, the person in turns who bought it, sells it off in a pack of PSDs for full rights. Now someone buys that pack of PSDs, and decides to give away free at another site, or GameRender itself.

You now have over 30+ people who have the PSD, not to mention those who downloaded the PSD for free. Someone will claim they got ripped, or screwed..and then the moderators are called in to try and sort the entire mess out. No offence, but i don't get paid money or credits for this job, and no amount of money or credits would be worth sorting out such messes 30 to 40 times a week. Premium Member was selling full rights to a pack of 1,000 + PSDs, can you say...headache?

If you were able to follow that, you are now smarter then the average GameRenders member, congradulations!

It still doesn't make sense. If you buy full rights, why do you have to make changes to the psd to sell it again for full rights, don't you have full rights already, doing whatever the hell you want with it.

Get the point old man, nothing in bftp's post indicates why the psd has to be changed.
