i know html but i still use frontpage.. sometimes frontpage messes up and makes something wrong but then i can easily go back to the html and fix it up.. its always good to know HTML.. very easy to learn and very basic.. for html i recommend: www.lissaexplains.com www.funky-chickens.com lissaexplains is better because its more of a guide/tutorial and funky-chickens just gives you the codes to do whatever
is this a page where i can get tuts from cause im kinda stuck on frontpage at the moment
What are you 'stuck' on? Post it here and maybe we can help? If you want some good HTML / Java code (for aesthetics or navigation) I would highly recommend: DHTML Shock
well its that i got all my JPGS and PSD's on my web page but i dont really know how to get started on it at the moment
er.....slice.....what...does...that..mean....??!!?? if you got msn messenger add me:
Chox, Slicing is what you have to do to every .psd file before it becomes a web page. What you do, is go to ImageReady, then press K ("Slice" tool). You need to slice up the image into different parts, like on box for the content, navigation (you can use rollovers for navigation, which ImageReady has) Instead of going through what you need to do, I'll give you some tutorial links: http://depiction.net/?id=pslayoutslicing http://gfxschool.com/tutorials/photoshop/slicing.php http://winnersarts.myfreebb.com/viewtopic.php?t=39
yeah you dont necessarly have to use imageready .. ive been using photoshop for slicing but i never knew u can have hover butons in imageready.. i should try that out
Slicing is the same in PS and ImageReady, but ImageReady has a bit of HTML coding, so you can make click behaviors and rollovers. B)
