You sound like a pussy, to be blunt. Heres a rough stat for you, 80% of the time you will be shot down. She may be 'special', etc. to you, but your young, obviously, there will be literally hundreds of other possibilities and at the bare minimum tens of women whom you will find 'special'. Ask her out, plain and simple. Let her know you've liked her for a while if you want, and you just want to take her out to a restaraunt and a movie sometime, even if as just friends, if she says yes, awesome, if she says no, so what? She said no, get used to it, it'll happen often, life goes on, no reason to miss sleep over it.
