do you mean why it is not on here?

Because it is "shareware", not "freeware". this is a "freeware" list...

    no problem...

Shareware is a marketing method for software, whereby a trial version is distributed in advance and without payment, as is common for proprietary software. Shareware software is typically obtained free of charge, either by downloading from the internet or on magazine cover-disks. A user tries out the program, and thus shareware has also been known as 'try before you buy', demoware, trialware and by many other names. A shareware program is accompanied by a request for payment, and the software's distribution license often requires such a payment. Payment is often required once a set period of time has elapsed after installation. The term shareware was coined by Bob Wallace to describe his word processor PC-Write in the mid-1980s.

Freeware (also called gratis software or "free as in free beer" software) is computer software which
is made available free of charge and
is not necessarily free to be used, copied, studied, modified and redistributed.

This contrasts with "free software" (also called libre software or "free as in speech" software) which
can be used, copied, studied, modified and redistributed but
may or may not be free of charge.

What's the best recomended anti-virus and anti-spyware programs on that list? My laptop really needs it and it does not have nothing what so ever.

(i origionally tried to rank these, but theyre all good)
No, I have heard of it... the reason it is not on this list is because both AIM and MSNM have known problems, like viruses and such. these free/open source ones have few or no issues.
