Little by little they stand up, a teacher, a nurse, a doctor, a cop, a designer, they all look upon Irrel's name and see that he's banned, they all ask "why?", they gave us a reason!, but it's not worthy of getting banned for ever!, because in the United States of America we believe of Freedom, the Freedom of speech, it is a country where you can express yourself my brothers and sisters, then why should he get banned?!, he only told Jesse he was gay, in a spamming way, but Jesse always posted Yaoi as he calls it, wich were rendered gay toons, and he never got warned, that is pervertion!, it is not the same as anime, because anime are girls, with boobs, big ones, and they look good!, but gay anime is bad!, ugly!, horrible!, make this campain history!, LET US UNITE TO FREE IRREL! Maybe if you propose a permanent probation kind of thing to irrel's return, you can make a case with the staff. They're not just gonna let him waltz back in here without reasurrances that he won't start spamming again. I'm guessing if the whole community who wants irrel back AGREES that ONCE he is returned, he will be permanently banned (not two years) if he spams. No matter how minute the spam post is, a probation is probation. This way it helps both sides, if the staff agrees. If irrel comes back in and starts spamming, the community won't have any reason to back him up and start this sorta redundant "campaign". If he comes back in and stays a respectful, friendly poster and designer, then everybody is happy. On a side note, I noticed that every single "campaign" to free irrel doesn't have any promises that once he's back he won't cause trouble. Chances are most people (including me) believe that its irrel's nature to be obnoxious, hostile, and "spammy" when someone disagrees with him or acts a way he disapproves of. That's my two cents regarding this situation.
well since thats how u put it, i'll remember to not defend friend, not flame people flaming other poeple just for one singles tiny comment, or people with their head up their butt. turning the other cheek may be you're method, but and eye for and eye will always be mine.
You kno thinking about it, the can unban him with some conditions, if a mod or admin sees this, don't ban me, don't dismiss it, don't lock it, let's talk about it, cuz irrel is a great designer and isnpiration for lots of designers, and he could be helpful here.
If someone flames, they get warned. If you flame, you get warned too. SO if you flame them back, what's in it for you? Its not like they're gonna be "oh no, i'm getting flamed. so afraid!". And before anyone gets into another argument, my definition of flaming is an offensive comment that is both aggresive and excessive. SUCH AS "omfg you dumb ----". Oh and FYI, "turning the other cheek" isn't my "method". Trust me, people get what they deserve without me having to get my hands dirty.
