My dad has Gmail, I don't really see why iot would be beter than yahoo, or anything else. I have my own outloook account, which is better because it has a easy to work calender and stuff like that. I don't see why Google thinks their program is so special, you have to be "invited" to use it.
The only other way to get an invitaion code is to use your cell phone. Text messaging google costs about $1.00. I'd rather get it for free from e-mail.
Its spam blocker is effective and I find it better then hotmail I use my gmail acct for msn and such.
Gmail is the best ever Mail account... Its so big you will never need to delete massages... I have about 1000 massages and still ive use 1%... Thats alot...
haven't gotten more than 3 spam since i've had gmail and ive had it for more than 6 months, u can get an account at gmail.com free, no more need for invites
Gmail rocks! i used to hotmail and got masses of spam, about 160 on average per day, with gmail i get the emails i want and need. 'Nuff said.
