Hey all. I'm rather bored so i'm coding 1 (and maybe more) template(s) with html and css for free. Just post a small preview here if you are interested. And I will just pick one (or more)... If the template is not too complicated I may even make it joomla compatible if you're interested in that, but that just depends on the layout and the person requesting.
Hmm. I may be designing one some time tomorrow if you wouldn't mind waiting a few hours. It won't be too complicated. I may add a splash page in, but I'm not sure yet. I guess it will depend if you're comfortable coding a splach page. ~GTO
Just a couple questions: how are you with myspace div's? In your experience, how hard would http://mrblueeyes.deviantart.com/art/My-Re...log-V2-91919931 be to code for WP/Joomla?
Ipoo. I'm willing to give it a try. It is rather difficult. Especially the mouseover buttons and the sidewidgets are going to be rather difficult. And for some of the things in your template you're going to need custom modules. It's probably going to take a while though (a week or more). Let me know if you want me to give it a try... About the Myspace: No idea, I never coded anything for myspace. I haven't even got an account there. I just don't really like the myspace concept.
I guessed as much. My friend and I tried to code that monster and stopped just starting the navigation. We had the basic body done, but it was one of those templates that make you want to shoot yourself. Tell me if you would be able to code this one though (I've done the myspace coding for it, however it was only working [well] in firefox, not IE). http://i31.tinypic.com/154u14m.png The main problem with myspace is that it doesn't allow you to define a doctype
I'm quite sure I can do this one. Can I get the PSD? Btw: What problems did you come across and in which versions of IE?
Btw Ipoo, I found a possible solution for the image menu. I'm quite positive it could work: http://docs.joomla.org/Image_only_menu_ite...rollover_effect. But let me try the myspace one first.
I'll send it over in a second. The main problem was that the original myspace layout has everything in a predefined table. If I set a background image, every single thing adapts that background image (say if I wanted a gradient, the google ad would receive a gradient as well as every single comment). So me, being the super-amazing-p.ro set a transparent table background via CSS. It worked like a charm in firefox. When I viewed it in IE, the tables were still there. This was checked in IE7, so I'm assuming every IE user is f'ed.
