Oh man. Today has been a bad day. K. First, Gauss Contest. I would have gotten perfect. But, I got the FREAKING FIRST QUESTION WRONG (4-3)x2, how the hell do I get that wrong? I don't know, and I answered 1. That just really pissed me off, being that close to getting perfect. So now I need to vent my anger out on something <_>

im in 9th grade and i have no idea how to do division any more... i need a calculator like i can do easy stuff like 48/12 or 99/11 but not like 1231/4374. I forgets how
lets see, math is pointless, all you need to know is how to shoot a gun, how to run, how to throw a grenade. Or go the way your going, your custom designs could go big someday as a manga artist or something. Maybe learn japanese and move there and draw . Thats my goal in life, to be a japanese to english translater, not that big of an ambition but something i would love to do and can accomplish.
o your 12, i was worried you'd be some 16year old who sitting the lowest course humanily possible, fair enough. Wait till you get to see A-Level math with quadratic formulas etc =)
And the entire test wasn't like that, just that first question, the easiest one. The last question took FOREVER, even though it was actually very simple. Our teacher made us do grade 10 math last year cause we're "gifted" took nearly an hour to do a question...
i was doing senior college level math my freshman year in high school. in 6th grade, i was able to do freshman level college stuff.
its -b +/- [root ( b^2 -4ac)] / 2a and i find this one rather intimidating to look at: its quite easy to use though
