I want to: A: make FPS a lil better while using it, not needed much tho B: make file sizes smaller, EXTREMELY NEEDED HERE! a video 1 min, 10 seconds long is about 1gb.. Edit; just found out about VirtualDub for compressing
First of all make sure all your other programs in the background are closed. Ie. Virus Software, MSN, AIM ect. If you want to make the file size smaller then just import the .AVI file in Windows Movie Maker. This will take a little while depending on the size. Once it's imported then just go to File > Save Movie and then select for computer. Once that is selected it will give you a drop down with a bunch of options. Just select Video for Broadband at 512kb. This will compress a 2-3gb file down to about 20mb. Experiment with different settings in movie maker to make the file even smaller. Although, you will comprimise the quality of the video. From my experience the setting above works the best. Hope this helps.. Any questions just let me know.
just run the game at a lower resolution and th framerate will go up helping with the recording, might not make the monitor render 100% when sharpness is involved but the movie will be fine.
Allright thanks got my 1gb file, editted it a bunch, compressed it in movie maker, which i had to download, and its down to 1mb... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z7YkYGq8_4 Im gonna go redo the thing tho, make it a bit longer and ----.. make it slow down affects and ---- possibly... and if u watch that video, it totally scared the ---- outta me...
