Look at this. These guys planned to raid my forums, but they were stupid enough to follow the link at the top and I traced it back. What should I do? My friend says I should just counter attack, but what do you think?

I've stopped them registering. They got all scared when I logged on, I have it so I an e-mail when absolutely anything happens on the forums. I'm just wondering if I can report them or something, or should I just do what they did to me, cause they seem pretty scared of a counter attack.

I would contact their ISP via the IP if you can get it, and report them for spamming or w/e their doing. Then their net gets turned off and their parents beat the ---- out of them ( depending what ISP it is ).

Just do a Whois on their IP ( http://dnsstuff.com , others too )

Why counter attack? thats dumb. Then your ass can get in trouble depending on what you do.

edit: Actually, looking at their site, i would report their IPs, the site to the ISP, and then report the site to the host of their site and file a complaint.

.Look, not to flame anyone, but here is some advice:

This is the internet, as said above you don't know how good they are, or how much they know. You want to get them back? IP ban them and hope they dont use a proxy, then report them and their site to their ISP and their webhost(I say site because they posted that on their site).

    Second:
anyone saying to hack them back is foolish. As said above, and above in my post, you dont know who they might know. Plus, if you do something and get caught your screwed.

So yea, best bet is to just do the above and contact their ISP and webhost.

The thing is, I read the thread and it says "USE TOR" which is a proxy.

Write a PHP script that checks their IPs, since you have them. If its one of theirs, forward them to goatse

In all seriousness though, what you want to do is contact their host, not really ISP.

    dns lookup for "kriticalerror.com"

As can be seen, their host is termee.com. On the front page of that site, their are contact details of how to get a hold of them. I think I'm going to go write them a little email, as I know how to do the legal talk thing moderately well :)

And desertfox is right, they reek of noob.

Yep don't seem anywhere near to 1337 haxxors for the reason that they posted a thread about raiding a forum and saying exactly what they are gonna do and when to start ect...

Also if it were a 1337 haxxor they wouldn't veen say anything about it nor warn anyone.. I have loads of hacking buddies;) Best thing is to complain to there host...

Or contact me I can talk to em       Yes they are definatly NOOBS.
