Forum Cut Off Dates Cont. & Closing Threads

I wasn't done discussing this with staff, so not sure why the thread was closed. The cut off date is rid. In marketplace, it's only a week from what I can tell. I don't want something done in the half a year that "GRv4" is suppose to come out - something should at least be talked about now. It takes a mere half a minute to correct.

I'm not sure why every thread in this section needs to be closed. Believe or not, forums are meant for "discussion."

I love looking at old content. How come topics are being pruned and deleted, and only in certain sections? Renders has 27,000 topics - most of them probably broken, yet Offers & Request/Auction Room got the trashcan. It doesn't make IPB load any quicker, just makes backing up a little bit harder. Offers and Request only having 43 topics just makes the site look inactive. Big numbers attract people's attention. Part of GR (or any community) is having those old, popular threads around.
