I was out of high school nearly 3/4 of the time because I was at the local community college taking college courses. The school itself is deemed as being one of the best public high schools in the nation, continuously receiving the 'excellence' rating every year since I was 10 (which is when I was introduced considering my uncle was the vice principal at the time). We had the defensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Bucs as our defensive coach for a year or two before I went there through a couple years later (he was out of the league due to injury which prohibited him from fulfilling his duties). Why would I want to go to college? Why use college as a crutch? I made my own way until 20, I don't need to rely on a college education to succeed in life. Ask Mortified, maybe Neuron, Sock, Asar, or any of the other people who have asked me the very same thing. I haven't failed after high school at all. I work a job where I make a salary comfortable enough to support a family where I enjoy working. Is that not success? I have the transcripts from CSU showing a full 4.0 GPA out of college when I achieved my associates in applied science. I had a job oppurtunity, at the age of 18 (when I graduated) to make 50,000 a year salary, 70,000 if I choose to work the optional overtime. Most college graduates can't expect that kind of income until 5-10 later into a job. Not to mention I was offered the job when the company was just starting, had I been at the foundation of the company as it grew my potential to grow with the company became much greater. The company folded, so I was left working as a dispatcher, it wasn't great money, but it was 8 hours aday of me doing nothing but watching videos on my monitor. At the time I wasn't living with my girlfriend anymore so I didn't care about supporting her and I had no problem supporting myself, I was happy, that is success to me. When the economy crashed I was on the least productive shift (I worked overnights and received... maybe 10 calls in an 8 hour shift), so it made sense on the budget to cut me. I was offered jobs to other companies afterwards, but none of them really struck my interest. Then I was offered a position with a web publishing company in Scottsdale, AZ and I was about to go there when one of my guildies in WoW said, 'hey dude, we have an opening over at our call center, you should apply' and he was a manager. I was like, awesome, a job offer basically and I already know one person who worked there. I am a geek, and it is a geek environment, sounds good to me. Put in my resume, was called up in 24 hours, got the job on the spot and have been working with the company since the following Monday, and I enjoy it. I make a good amount of money, I enjoy the work, I enjoy my friends at work, and I am content. I considered going back to college, primarily because I want to be a coroner / mortician (I know, odd, eh?), but I don't want to put forth the amount of time and effort to pull another 5 years for schooling (not to mention the money), then spend another 5-10 years on the police force to become a detective and then a coroner, and morticians are almost always family related business. The initial plan when I went to college was to graduate with a major in software design and minor in psychology so I could work with my cousin in CA creating human like robots for gene splicing purposes (want proof of that? look up Curtis Marsh in Wired magazine - he is a highly published scientist). I graduated high school with roughly half a year of college credit. I attended the summer courses (as Marforce and most of the IRC can vouch for, considering I was gone almost all summer studying), and then I took full time school with part time work during the standard semester based courses and graduated. In case you didn't know, summer courses can account for roughly half a year of schooling in the matter of a few weeks. It is very fast paced and very demanding, as I am sure any college student (probably Marforce / Rena) could vouch for. I enjoy what I do, and I make enough money to support myself, and for the most part, a family. If I need more money or something unexpected comes up I sell a few web designs or power level a few characters in WoW. As for 'evidence', I laid it out for you. You can Google the flipping evidence, its on news sites and the school website. In a court of law a defendant is innocent until proven guilty. Considering you are calling me out as being guilty and attempting to prove what I say is wrong, I tell you to provide proof. If you wish to provide proof, I will provide a rebuttal in my defense with my own set of proof. If you choose to not bring proof to the table for me to defend myself, I am innocent, and you have forfeited the entire trial/debate.
That's lovely, I still don't believe you, or really care. I mean, if it's true, congrats, you're the most amazing person ever, but still doubtful. I mean, seriously, I've had a 4.0 for as long as I can remember, my life's dream (well, since freshman year) has been to be accepted to MIT, I have been, but I am turning them down to go to a community college so I can stay closer to home. Also, to save a bit of money. I'm not using college as a crutch, but to do what I want to do, I have to have college, no matter how smart I am they will never allow me to be an architect or an architectural engineer with no degree. Simple as that. I don't mind that you've accomplished something. Honestly, whether you were that thirteen year old who graduated from Harvard med, or some bum down the street, if I think you're an idiot, I'm going to call it. I have laid out all the information you need to know all you want about me (from where I went to school, people I went to school with, my real name, what I did, where I work, what kind of car I drive, women on this site alone I have fucked / lived with). All it takes is a little digging and you would realize I don't need to lie here. I am not Andrew, and I don't care enough to fabricate a second life to gain the acceptance of some online peers. I don't need a college education to do what I want because I don't have any other goal in life other than to satisfy myself and to be able to support a family successfully. Considering I am in a spot where I can do so, the next goal is simply to find a woman to make a part of that world, once that is done I will take it from there to whatever the next step may be. I don't have some master plan, I don't believe in things like that, and I especially don't believe in making selfish decisions which affect two major people in the end (ie myself and whoever I marry / settle down with) and considering that is my next stage in life as I have it set out... they need to be a part of whatever happens from then on.

Interestingly enough, my life goals are pretty similar. Except, I've found my fiance` and am getting married this summer after graduation.
