    AMERICAN FOOTBALL!!!!
I hate soccer its so freakin boring. All it is guys kicking a stupid ball around. American Football is much more intense than soccer. And in soccer do you get to tackle?

I find American Football to be a very boring sport. Throw ball. Catch ball. Hit guys. I like playing it, but I don't really like watching it...

Yes, you can tackle in soccer (football). But it doesn't mean the same thing.

I figure soccer involves a lot more skill. It also seems to be a little more manly, what with all the padding and such. I actually prefer Canadian Football over American Football. But Soccer blows them both out of the water. (The poll is not working for me).

EVERYBODY in America makes fun of soccer, or people who like soccer.

I haven't ever seen anyone actually die directly because of soccer but have american football so therefore I like it more *population control*

and yes I know about the guy who's heart failed on the field and died but it wasn't because he had 300 pounds coming at him fast enough it exploded his heart lol

Greasy Pete: So you're saying the United States makes fun of anyone not from North America? Tsk, tsk... that's a negative stereotype, sir.

Gallione: You've obviously never witnessed the Soccer (football) culture firsthand. Haven't you ever at least looked at crazy sports moments where people start rioting? There's a reason they have absolutely STRICT separation in the stadiums for the teams. I'm sure more people have died from soccer (football) than from American Football. But I guess you wouldn't consider that "direct." And unless you've never seen some of the videos from soccer, there's a lot of crazy injuries that happen. The only reason people die while playing football is because the game deals with morons tackling eachother and having guys breaking necks and such. That's what happens if you have men jumping all over you all the time. Neck injuries. So I would assume population control is more in effect in soccer than futbol americano. Mi espanol no es bueno, pero yo se un poco.

I'm sure anyone not really from Canada/US will say they prefer soccer, and most from Canada/US will say otherwise. Kind of interesting, really. =D

    EDIT!!!!!
    I couldn't call myself a real Canadian if I didn't say this:
Hockey is truly the superior sport.

it is a negative stereotype but it is pretty much true.

Both, but I like Footie more. They are both fun to watch and fun to play, but I like real football more.

yeah i saw that guy i was watching the game on tv
also there was the scottish players phil o'donnell who died at the beggining of the year but i think that was from a heart attack on the pitch
but there is a lot of indirect deaths caused by football espiecially in south america

btw do you watch american football to see people die
