Fonts

    Well obviously I use Photoshop a lot and here's the thing I want to be able to use a lot of Fonts but I dont want to install them as I will basically overflow my OS and dont want to risk that is there another way I can use fonts in Photoshop without installing through windows?

    all fonts in ps are read from window's font folder. I do not think there is another way...

    Hmm. This would take some time. But maybe burn a disc with tons of fonts that you like to use. Then put in the CD and install a few fonts that you think you may use in PS this time around. Make your sig, delete the fonts. And start over again.
    I know its not very good. But it would keep the fonts off your computer

    i just use dafont.com/en and search for fonts as i need them, ps updates fonts in realtime so it's not like it takes long

    just delete some old fonts that u never use, i doubt u use all the standards

    Hmm well I thought it was possible but nevermind I could easily go through and delete some and then just delete some fonts after usage, Thx for all your replies really helpful forum.

    I use gimp and the new fonts i download aren't showing up but the ones i had when i downloaded the program are there. Is there some way to get these fonts or do I need to uninstall and install the program everytime I find a good font?
