Folder Help

    Every time I try to open a folder on my computer, my start menu and icons disappears for a couple seconds then comes back. My folder doesn't open either. Help?


    Operating System: Windows XP

    Have you scanned for viruses? Or maybe your computer is struggling to run, with unsufficient power?

    Have you got your start menu on auto-hide?

    Thats the only thing i can think of :D

    Right click > Properties on Start Menu - Untick Autohide if its ticked

    I just started up my computer when it started to happen.

    @ Darkstar- Not helping man, I forgot to mention that my icons dissappear too.

    Not enough Ram? Or too much on pc for the pc to cope with...Only thing i can think of, sorry. :(
