Flaming Forum

i jus thought it would be nice if we had a forum to flame ppl without getting banned. of course racism shouldnt be allowed there >.> itd be a nice way for members to blow of steam and especially with all the stuff going on rigth now who wouldnt wanna make public coments agaisnt some1 :lol:

 

The only downside to that, is that 95% of the people here can't do this in a mature fashion... therefore it would just lead to too many problems for the mod staff to deal with. No thanks.

Regardless of which makes you feel better is besides the point. Too many people here are immature about it, and a little young to be using that kind of language anyway.

If you have a problem with someone, that is what pm's are for. That and a moderating team.

I would think not provided it is done in a mature fashion. ie...
hey you did this and I have a problem with it, what can we do to fix it?

You get my drift. If it's something that can't be handled in a pm, that's what the mods are for. Same principle here as in real life. It's better not to take the law into your own hands. That's how you get yourself into trouble.

 

also, i think immature people who cant take the insults will be handing out -reps like crazy

I'm pretty sure they can find a way to have another post by that user in some other forum where reps ARE enabled.

And even that is not the issue in quesiton. I don't htink the flaming forum would be too much of a problem, providing post counts are turned off, and mods don't need to patrol it. People want to yell? Yell all they like. Flame all the like. If the person they're flaming is intelligent enough, they'd simply ignore it or drop a single comment and leave. If the person starts a flame war, then so be it! They both belong there, and they won't bother anyone. They're happy because they like flaming, we're happy because we DONT like flaming.

Then again, the forum can also do fine without a flame forum.
