Some jaggy edges in there. Keep working on it.

Also, it's best to save it with a transparent background so it won't have to be cut again.

Make sure the document has a transparent bg and save as a PNG-24 file.

Thanks, but how do I get a transparent background? Sorry for asking, but I am used to using Paintshop Pro 7, and I just started using Photoshop today, so please help me out. :D

When you open a new document, you can choose what background you want: white, black, or transparent. Choose transparent. Keep in mind, the transparent background looks like a checkerboard.

Then get the pic you wanna cut and use the 'move tool' to transfer it to your new document with the transparent background.

Then you can cut off stuff from the original pic then save as a PNG-24. Also, when you save, make sure transparency is checked.

Ok, I did what you told me to, but the pic in the transparent background is just a white box, and it doesn't show up, what do I do?

    Good luck.

One more tip: learn to use layer masks if you haven't already. It's so much better than the eraser since it won't destroy any pixels like the eraser does.

They're located on the layer's palette. Click on it and it'll show a little white box on the layer you're working on. Black paint hides the pixels and acts like an eraser. White paint brings them back. This is good just in case you cut off too much from an image and you want those pixels back.

This is probably a lot to take in at the moment. hehe
    Good luck again.

Thanks for the advice, but that still doesn't solve my problem. I am transferring the image into the transparent background, but all I get is a white box! Please tell me what to do! ;(

If you have a screenshot I might be able to help.

My only guess right now is a resolution problem.
The document you made might be too big and you might have to zoom in.
I'm just taking a guess, though.

I got it to work with a different image. Thanks for the help though, I should be posting it either shortly, or tommorow.

Lol, I was just thinking that. But yes, it basically is, but trust me, if you take the pic I am doing right now, it's not easy, and it takes alot of time.

    Um, no........................

Have you been living under a rock for the last couple of years? That is a Gundam, Altron Gundam if I am not mistaken. :D

    Thanks for the compliment though.

Oh, and why is it not a render? Just because it doesn't have the white backgroud, doesn't mean it isn't a render.............
