Or has no one to go out with and no one to spend it on so its just all built up over the years and thought he would buy credits to pass the time.

 

Maybe... Though I know that if I had no life then I would just keep spending my cash on upgrading my PC...

I suspect either he has rich parents/dead relatives and as a result has lots of cash. Or that he's actually Shaggy's best friend and he's just been given most of the creds through the ACP ^^
