Firewall..

I cant find my Security icon anywhere in control panel or w.e. I just reformatted so I dunno whats up.



i need to find it =\

It should be there, I don't know why it isn't there, try going to Start > Search and search for Windows Security Center or Security, or try typing that in run.

 

Well, yeah, both the Security Center and Windows Firewall icons are missing, that is really suspicious to me.

Try going to windows website to see if there is any FAQ, or if its available to download. If they dont have it there, you can find somewhere else to download it off google.

Just be really cautious without a firewall.

got it, jsut had to install Windows SP2

if you have SP1, thats probably the problem. Enchanced security crap goes along with SP2
