    k ive been seeing this everywhere.....what is firefox and whats so good about it????

    The above two are right, but that is not the main thing about Firefox.

    Firefox is a fully FREE and Open source browswer...that is completely w3c standardized (meaning it reads HTML like it is supposed to).

    Other browsers now do the same such as NN (yes NN is pertty standard) and Opera. Internet Explorer is the only browser that won't go to the standardized CSS/XHTML...noone knows why..it's a big headache. Microsoft wants to keep its ridiculous monopoly and won't make the change. THe only way we can keep the web standardized (whcih will make things so much easier for developers) is to support projects like Firefox.

    I recommend Firefox over any browser.

    Check it out. Standardize the web (about damn time)

    how technical.... to put his post in lamons terms... its easier to ues and has cool gizmoz.....

    its more faster... thats all it matters to me...

    theres a thread about how to make firefox faster than helll..

    Nah just seems to be a safer browser.

    I use IE.

    You can have tabbed browsing with IE too. Its called group similiar icons.
