Firefox Wont Connect.

    Firefox->Tools->options->General->Connection settings perhaps?

    Compare them with your internet explorer settings.
    IE->Tools->Internet options->Connections->Lan Settings->Proxy server.

    He said he is directly connected to the internet through the above settings ^^^. and you just copied and pasted that from here

    Have you checked your privacy settings at all? There may be something in there.

    Tools > Options > Privacy

    I've also discovered something new. Try this, Boot into safe mode(Restart PC on the first beep hit f8, I believe.) Choose "Use Safe Mode with networking" then try that out. If it works come back and let me know.

    clear your cookies/cache and restart nooblet.

    Okay, I've read on another forum that you need to turn off any firewall system. Now uninstall firefox and reinstall it. Once installed try to get on the internet. (do this in regular Windows XP, not safe mode)

    kk so reboot in normal windows mode

    then turn off my firewall, and un-install Firefox, then re-install?
