Firefox Vs. Internet Explorer

    I use IE but everyone is always talking about how Firefox is better...what's the difference? I want to know before I download Firefox..... And please don't reply saying "Firefox is better" or whatever because I want reasons...valid reasons...thanks.

    Firefox pwnz IE in every way....

    Tabbed browsing (yes I know IE7 has that now but ff has had it forever), alpha channel support, easy customisation, LOADS of addons and mods, good skins, much better popup protection and anti-virus software.

    FireFox is apparntly a much quicker browser it loads pages faster (not sure if thats true) you can also have tabs like along the top instead of stacks at the bottom.

    So just download FF xD.

    Its better lol

    Oh yeah that's right FF is faster aswell, espessially if you download "fasterfox" addon

    Tabbed browsing
    Faster loading of pages
    Built in pop up blocker
    Easier interface to use
    IE has problems with .png files

    Overall firefox is better but sometimes u need IE to view certain pages other then that I have both and use firefox except when I have to use IE worth trying download Firefox asap.

    I dont use tabbing
    Firefox is slower (from my experience) in loading pictures
    the scrolling isnt very smooth

    One thing good about ff is the PNG transparency bg.

    Otherwise, IE is faster for me. I dont get ANY ads or pop-ups. All banner ads like the ones shown on this site? blocked for me.

    FF becuz

    tabbed borwing
    loads page faster. alot faster after you make a few changes
    umm.... very customizable with great free skins

    overall just plain better B)
