Relax. It is not that people suck at rating, because they aren't rating on a tried and true formula. They are rating on personal preferences, and clearly, personal preferences cannot be be a factor which would deem someone to 'suck'. If you ask for people's opinions on what something looks like, you should expect them to be honest- and clearly that is what is exhibited.

With that said, there is no tried and true formula for a perfect sig so naturally you couldn't have made a sig that fits the faults of another one you made and expect this one to be good- every sig has a different feeling.

I liked your entry. But that doesn't make it better or worse than mine, ya know. So..dont take it to heart. Its not like your life is on the line here.

lol sry, its just that im trying to be different.. and ppl just keep on telling me that it needs more neg space, more dark spots.. so i get pissed cuz with these ppl u cant feel good making a new style because they follow 1 style and thats it...

I certainly don't follow one style, and if you'd like to know every reason why didn't vote for your tag, then look below.

-Yours was too bright, the effects in the background weren't very defined.
-The white pixels don't look very good at all, you have too many of them and they're randomly placed.
-Your text was barely readable, and I didn't like it much at all.

And WHY I voted for the other person's tag:

-The effects were defined well, the texture was very nice.
-The background may have been a bit empty on the sides, but imo that defined the textures a bit more.
-The text was nice, a simple, blended gradient text. Easily readable, and aesthetically pleasing.

And that's why I voted the way I did. And [+]rep for you, don't feel so bad.
