Ight heres the deal. Bout to start gaming again, unfortunately consoles but you take what you can get, so anyways getting the 360 and the ps3, but i need a huge tv to play em on and to watch the saturday college football, go Buckeyes!

Anyways, its been awhile since ive kept up with technology lately so im trying to find some good TVs but i have no idea what brands to look for. So thats where you guys come in, how about alittle help in choosing me a plasma tv eh?

Websites with information would be great, but your personal opinion or experiences work as well.

If you want a TV for gaming, get a LCD not a Plasma. Video game statistic boxes, such as life, ammo, coins, weapons, etc.. etc...are set images, and if the game is played long enough, it will start burning those images into your TV. So next time you are watching LOST, there will be an energy sword at the top of your screen.

LCD's however, do not have this problem.

Some games though, have 'plasma tv capable' and such on them (Super Paper Mario has it). And newer games like Ratchet and CLank Future: Tools of Destruction get rid of the 'statistic boxes' while you are not getting damaged, or using ammo, or collecting anything, so it is plasma tv capable.

If you do decide to go for a plasma, which I don't recommend for gaming, then I WOULD recommend the Panasonic Viera plasma.

If you have the room, you're best option is a DLP TV; they last the longest and have the superior picture.

I personally have a 32 in. Olevia LCD, which works perfectly... Its just as good as a Samsung, but a lot cheaper.

Meh, i went to a bestbuy today and looked around DLP was soso, I saw one sony bravia lcd that looked almost as good as a plasma. Think it was a Sony 50" Bravia 1080p and looked wayy better than the DLPs.
