OMG... i seriously, seriously, hope thats how they run the active battle system in it, its like... *drool* can you imagine the final boss battle in a game like that if the battle system was that active? holy hell... i also wanna see if they introduce multiple characters to be controlled in it or keep it as the player only plays one character (not introduce, i mean add in, like in all the older FFs they have multiple characters in battle and you control all of them, etc.)...
This game looks amazing. It's like the first FF game for every new system looks great. Then it starts to go gradually downhill..
FF XIII (13)? FF XII (12) is out, but only in Japan, we still have to wait a few months for it over here in the states and even longer for europeans. Also, the character design on FF XIII looks very similar to FF XI's character design on a good videocard at max settings (i swear FF XI is flawless, period.). If you into in-depth, difficult MMORPGs and dont mind waiting a while for a part, FF XI is for you, it such a great game.
I seriously almost peed myself when I watched this (not really). If that is how the real-time battle is, which i really think and hope it is, then this will be the best FF game ever...well maybe not but it will be awsome!!!
I think that this game will be very good. The new 'White Engine' sounds like a great idea for all RPGs that are to be released by Squeenix. I mean, who wouldn't want like 12 mofos on the screen at once? You'd have to be nuts not to. In addition to that, everything will supposedly have the same graphics (so no CGI cutscenes will look uber-l33t in contrast to the game's gameplay graphics). As for the chick, it looks like she went into like, Yuna's (FFX-2 incarnation) wardrobe or something. 'cause DANG, the outfits look a lot alike! I also like that it has a look of both FFVIII and FFX put together. Gunblades AND Guns that actually work in one weapon. It's like a fanboy's dream come true! I only wish they'd hurry up with the PS3 and that game *sigh*.
lol well put, the girl DOES look alot like Yuna from X-2, and yea the gunblades/guns/blades are awsome!
