If anyone thinks 8 is better then 7, you need to just stop using the INET, Stop playing games, and get a life.
I dont have a favortie out of the two i like them equally,both great games but yer ff7 has a better story line and that,but i couldnt fully decide which one i prefer out of them both. Hell its final fantasy,dosent matter what one it is i like it,final fantasy is the best,lol.
Personaly i think FF7 was a bit over-rated but the story is still excellent, but my fav out of the two would have to be FF8.
FF7 is the best FF ever as voted by 90% off ff fans (not an actual statistic but sounds about right). It has the best story, and gameplay and hense why FF:AC and cartoons have come out. (See I do have facts to back up my crap stats). Daz
ff7 by far, if ff8 didnt have that stupid idea of sucking the magic outa monsters/bosses and having to sauk there gf to get it, it could have been a much better game. but obiously ff7 wins, it is the best story line (and many other games have tryed to copy it, but failed), the coolest chars, just pure genious, and advent children rocks !! (muahahha to all the people who havent watched it, its worth downloading and still worth buying when it comes out (england sauks!))
If you like lots of random bull ---- timers, then you'll like FF8 better. Otherwise, you made the right choice in games.
I perfer FF8, cause i beat it when I was like 9 and it was the first RPG I beat, of sentimental value. But FF7, is just better...alot better..
