i just started today, even though ive had the game for a while ^_^ , any tips before i continue any further?
if i did, i woulda said i was stuck, its pretty ez so far though im gonna plan on finsihijng it this weekend
oh that game is eazy but a little in the game youll have hard parts .. try ff x-2 youll have it harder its tighter. but peace..
Personally I thought FF X-2 was MUCH MUCH easier (the end boss is a panzy in that game, all it is is a matter of time till he dies), atleast the final boss of FF X is SOMEWHAT challenging (atleast ur first time through). Basically, boss battles be sure to enter with all of Yuna's summons with overdrives, it makes the boss battles fly by. Play Blitz Ball until you get Wakka's overdrive, it is the single most devastating move in the game (capable of about 1.4M dmg to any 1 enemy, which is more than any enemy in the game has). Uncover the secret Aeons (only 1 is really worth mentioning, but i wont tell you the name until later on, its also the strongest Aeon out of every Aeon). Make Kimahri (or however you spell it) reach Ultima first and then use a certain sphere type (forgot the name) that transfers another char to a previous activated spot of an ally and activate it for Lulu. Then, once your at 3rd level spells (thundaga, firaga, blizzaga, ultima, flare kind of stuff) teach it all to Yuna (shell have a higher magic rating at this point in most cases) and Lulu will become obsolete. So far I have found the best team to be Tidus, Auron and Lulu/Yuna your first time through (since Auron is a flipping power house). Second time through, or later in the game with all the extra stuff you can do, use Tidus, Wakka and Yuna. That will be your dream team. Yuna, at this point, will have white magic, most of the black magic, probably maxed magic rating, and very powerful aeons. Wakka can hit anything, he can hit with max strength quickly (dealing maximum of 99,999 damage every single hit, thats what 255 strength does) and his overdrive is just awesome. Tidus is a speedy mother ****** and will probably learn some white magic spells (i taught him to be able to heal and use hastega/protect/shell/etc.) and his Quick Hit ability can sometimes save you (especially when he has 255 strength). If you ever come across a problem on ANY game from FF 7 on up (minus FF XI or FFXII [not out]) and I can help ya. I love FF and I have played them all, but only FF 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2 have I completed on a 100% basis.
the Temple Trial thingy (been over a year since i last played this) Get easyer and easyer......, Hey Virtous... Ya know that boss on FF 9? the one u need a flying chocobo and peper or whatever to get to? How in :censored: name do u kill that? I even went to using Xploder.... and the 9999 HP n 999 Mp and i still could beat it, i had ever move in the game still it refused to die!
The Cloister of Trials is the name of the "Temple Trial thingy" as you explained it. The boss your referring to is named Ozma. The FAQ I used to beat him was found here. Zanarkand - Just kill em & you arrive at Spira and at Baaj Temple - U meet a big fish Just let him batter you Once inside later on al bhed kik ur butt & it was Rikku They make you work - So work and train a little in the sea when swimming underwater *ALSO STEAL GRENADES LOADS OF EM - GET ABOUT 60 and you have enough money * Basically get Tidus's overdrives quite often so you can get Blitz Ace Take Tidus on the Sphere grid and learn haste its like right next to him then take him along aurons route where there are loads of Str+4 and HP - Helps both Tidus and Auron Str & HP wise - Once you get into the game and get 6million Exp & getting 99 sphere levels then you can make Yuna go into a Magic and Str Freak that just stops anything [ Ive got all spheres on Expert grid I can show u a screenie if u dont believe me ] For me kimarhi is random - Ive learnt him black magic and healing magic hehe Viruoso i dont think you have completed FFX 100% coz when u said wakkas overdrive delivers 1.4M damage and in brackets u said more than any enemy thats wrong ... Ever heard of the Dark Aeons they have MILLIONS of HP Dark Ifrit -> HP: 1400000 Dark Ixion -> HP: 1200000 Dark Shiva -> HP: 1100000 Dark Bahamut -> HP: 4000000 Dark Anima -> HP: 8000000 Dark Yojimbo -> HP: 1600000 Dark Magus Sisters -> HP: (Dark Sandy): 2500000 (Dark Cindy): 3000000 (Dark Mindy): 2000000 Penance aka Der Richter -> HP: 3000000/9000000 The MOST DIFFICULT BOSS IN THE GAME and btw even if you had 2 days without sleep [48hours] you cannot complete this game fully unless you miss something etc Basically just train as much as you can - It helps when fighting later on - Trust me - Fight loads of time during the the mihen highroad its massive and gets boring but later it helps when fighting bosses I WARN YOU ONE THING GET TREASURES FROM EVERY TEMPLE OR YOU CANT GET MAGUS OR ANIMA [strongest Aeons in the game] and especially at Bevelle temple - If you miss the treasure at Bevelle then you are screwed coz u cant go back to it
it as fun but the boses where eazy sorry well not the 1 in the desert lol i hated that 1 i gave up still havent beat game havent played my ps2 for 9 months ..
Sadly, the dark aeons and penance are only available in the Japanese and European version, not the American version. In the American version the only creature you cant kill with Wakka's overdrive is that pot with a lot of eyes. However, Yojimbo can kill every single dark aeon AND penance in one hit (using that one attack, i never used it, as its cheap, but it DOES kill penance and the dark aeons)
lol Zanmato You have to pay billions to do that probably on Penance Lucky me got Uk version hehe coz me lives in UK That kinda sux that the pot is the only creature thats kinda wrecked it up
its not hard to make money in FF X either if you know how to do it I played a specialty version to the game. The NSGNMNO Game (no spehere grid, no magic, no overdrive). Zanmato was god in that game. You wouldnt believe the amount of phoenixes I had to go through against the final boss. Ultimately I had saved up so much money (since i didnt bother buying new weapons or anything, since Aeons were my main power house, without ODs, Magic, just physical attacks) that I was able to Zanmato the last bosses lol Just a hint, dont ever do that lol Oh, and FF X can be easily beaten in 48 hours. My last play through was somewhere in the 42 hour time period. However, to get everything done it takes about 150 hours (about 200-255 in the European/Japanese version, due to the dark aeons and having to make sure ur chars are in tip top shape). 42 hours was the main game plus the ultima dungeon and collecting the secret aeons and legendary weapons. Besides that I dont think I had any other sub-games done.
Ye they give loads - If you got Gillionaire from Rikkus celestial weapon or put it on yourself then you get tons in no time Ye dark aeons tkes the pee - Anime & magus sisters are friggin hardcore killa - Sme with Penance/Nemesis
