Here are a few things that have been going through my mind. If the public response is postive, you will most likely see them incorporated into GameRenders.
    • Auction limits. Set x amount of days an auction is allowed to be going, or at least when the current bidders may have there bids withdrawn. Seems unfair that an Auctioneer can hold an auction going for two + weeks and the highest bidder is required to buy this item or face consequences.
    • Fines received or an auction closed after x amount of bumps. Most likely four max. Tired of going through two pages of an auction seeing BUMP.
    • (Renagades idea) - A lot of people do not like the crew requirements of reputation/and post. Instead of requirements, a intial fee of x amount of credits to help get rid of credits.
    • Credits brought back to Offers & Request and stiff fines if people abuse it.
    • SEMI PRO, PRO, RATED PRO, L O N G T I T L E S and other annoying titles disallowed from being used. Back when the Auction Room was created, It was created so people could share their work and make some credits. Now adays, people just abuse these ratings that are not even from GameRenders. Who the ---- cares if your semi-pro/pro at another site? If your pro at that site, why are you selling your work for credits here? Professional means you can make a living off your credits. Nobody here makes $900USD + to pay for their monthly bills.
    • Bring back some of the older store items, and possibly have a contest of who can come up with original, and reasonable(able to be done relatively easy). Possible suggestions include limiting the number of pinned items, bringing back the advertising at GR item, and a few other suggestions.
Just a few suggestions, thought if GR had a say in these (possibly) new rules - there would not be so much complaining.

The x amount of credits for starting a crew I personally feel it should be 5,000.

I agree with everything said above.

Pro, semipro, ect ratings don't bother me. What bothers me is when it's fake. Saying Pro when it's novice. That I do not agree with.

I agree with everything except the whole semi pro, pro, novice problem. I still think people should be able to call their work whatever they would like.

I disagree with renagade though on the crew creation price. I think it should be at the highest 2000 credits.

I;m not 100% sure on the credit for crews idea. I feel that people would just buy credits and we'd have that many more crews.

Which is fine, gets rid of credits in circulation.

Yes, true. But (some) members are annoyed enough as it is with the amount of crews, and when you add that many more, it could cause people to leave GameRenders. Just throwing this up because I'm a moderator at along site and we incorporated something similar and we lost some of our best members. ;( And as for the other suggestions, they sound good.

Someone would leave over the number of crews? What do crews have besides a topic in a single section, and maybe a few name changes on GR? At 2k to 5k, it'd help eliminate credits quickly.

Crews are more of a bragging right, so all it would do is increase the amount someone can brag. Just look at everyones signatures. "I'm in AG, FTW, Fathom, BE,T3, cloud9, etc."

If there is a price on creating a crew, less will feel obligated to do it. Not more.

Yes, I understand. But in nearly all new crews there are at least one or two, sometimes more posts saying "OH NOES NOT ANOTHER CREW"..I just think that if there was a price on having a crew, it kind of loses the value of a crew if we get a mass of them at a time, because people that really want a crew but don't meet the post and requirements rule now will just wanna buy some creds and start one. Just my opinion though. And as for people being upset over them, it's because lately it seems that everyone wants to start a crew and from what I've heard there used to be just a few of them. I guess it's a feeling of the value of being in a crew has lessened.

Andrew I just re-read what you posted about 'my idea'. I want both the requirements. Not just the credits.
