    Clinton and Theodore.

I agree with whoever said that if it wasn't for FDR, we would be nowhere right now.

and Clinton just because he didn't ---- around, he got the job done when was needed. hell, if we still had Clinton as a president, I bet the War in Iraq would be over right now.

Yeah, clinton moved this country ahead, one of the few democrats (and im a democrat traditionally, so i can say this) that actually did something for the presidency or in general (not to mention not many were elected, so not many could prove themselves in the first place).

Clinton had a fling, big deal, id like to see Bush get us pretty much the closest we ever were to becoming out of debt to nations after the hole he just punctured in the national budget. Hes more concerned about other countries than his own, it pisses me off.

I will agree that Clinton did a good job with our economy, but he lied to everyone.

Bush is concerned about the US, thats why he went to war in the first place. We could have been attack several times more if Bush never sent troops over to the middle east. He spent a lot of money, but it was for the safety of Americans. It may seem like he is doing more work changing other countries, but really it is helping American Homeland Security

if you're talking about Clinton lying about the sex scandel, who the f--- cares. so the man got some from a woman that wasn't his wife, men do that everyday. the only difference between Clinton and other guy is that he was the President. as long as Clinton took care of the US (which he did), I couldn't care less what he did in his personal life. he could have been a porn star for all I care.

and Bush... where is that eye rolling face... Bush is all over the place.

'oh, they flew planes into our buildings and killed our people, we have to fight back by sending our soldiers there to get killed instead of bombing them from afar and not needlessly risking our soldiers lives'

'oh, they have Weapons of Mass Destruction, we have to go get them! *two weeks afterwards the country is taken over* yeah, they have WMD, we're going to find them!'

'oh, those two countries are fighting so lets not mind our business and jump into help the side that has the best products while getting our soldiers killed'

JFK and FDR and HST even. Also Bush has moved our country forward... forward into freaking problems that hes too stupid to admit he caused. At least he makes a better president then Kerry would have made.

    probably one of these dudes...

    washington, lincoln, Eisenhower, and reagan...

note how they are all conservatives?

I don't dig leftist crap. I see the deomocratic party as being about as honest as stalin... "I voted agains the war before I voted for it" "Schwarzenegger cut funding to education by 2 billion"(note he dedicated 50billion to education, and the budget from the year prior was 48... dumbasses, teacher's should learn arithmetic... 2 billion below projected my ass, the state was 22billion in debt and education still got 2 billion more than before)

I hope McCain wins the presidency in '08 either that or Rice...

yeah, he wanted to avoid all the bull---- involved in political parties(and warned against the formation of parties) and wanted the US to stay out of foreign affairs... I mean sure Europe would be speaking German right now, but the US would be better off industrially and economically.

It doesn't matter what clinton lied about, its the fact that he lied. He went on nation TV and said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" [/southern accent] Its the principle that matters. He lied.

You are thinking about the war in the wrong way. Yah soldiers died. They signed up for the military, they know what they got themselves into. We could have had 20x more deaths of innocent people on american soil if we had not gone to war. Bush is doing just as well making decisions as any other president that could have been in office right now. There is always someone that is going to disagree with their decisions, because no one has the same opinions. You can believe what you want and thats what makes america great.

    Amen.

Washington was definitly not conservative...actually none of the revolutionaries were conservative. The idea of the revolution was the liberate Americans and give them more freedoms than what they had under the British rule, conservatism is keeping things the way they were. I'm also not too sure if you could call Lincoln conservative seeing as how he brought about big change in the way parties were, definition of conservative is keeping "tradtional values" so abolishing slavery and creating a new party, I'm not seeing the conservatism really overall.

I won't argue Eisenhower or Reagan being conservative, but I'll argue they weren't good presidents.
