Darkthorne, text based... well nah not my favorite but i like it a lot. my favorite is World of Warcrafts, ehh, because is World of warcraft, i mean, its lik eht ebest game ever....
yer i know, i like runescape just coz its been around for ages. if it wasnt good they would have gotten rid of it
Wow. although i quit. it was the best mmorpg. but they terd to bore me after a while. like i bought GW for £30 and played for 20 mins and then sold it here for 600 odd credz lol.
City of Heroes was boring. Matrix Online was boring when you played it since start of Beta. Guild Wars is still pretty fun. World of Warcraft is for Hard Metal Freaks. EVE Online has some nice graphics, and is still fun sometimes.

Gunz online its damn good as well, not and RPG thought, well u level and stuff but its third persone shooter
Why are you surprised? It's not that old...I realize some people don't like it, but just because some people don't like it doesn't mean people won't play it GW, because I simply don't like any other MMORPG I've played, including WoW <_< MMORPGs get boring after awhile...FPS is the only way to go!
My all time favorite is The Realm. I believe it was the first graphical MMORPG - made by Sierra Online in the early-mid 1990's. I've played it since beta. That means it's a game that's kept my regular attention for 8+ years. The graphics are outdated now and people aren't used to the turn based combat but...All in all, it has the best community and gameplay experience of any MMORPG's I've played - and that's a lot!
