It looks pretty good. I always complain about the shortness of games, but Oblivion was too vast for me, too long. So I am kind of worried about Fallout 3 in that aspect. The VATS system looks kind of weird in my opinion, but then again you don't actually need to use it in the game. I will probably eventually pick it up, but Banjo Kazooie and Dead Space will be coming first for me.

Its nothing like 1 & 2. Betheseda made it more like TES in fallout 3.

im playing the evil route right now and its pretty cool! im at tenpenny tower and its kinda cool to have it as your home (this aint a spoiler, trailers revealed this) but its kinda located in a bad spot IMO. might remake and see how the good route seems like, but the intro of childhood takes so ------ing long and there is no skipping it....GRRR

oh man VATS is amazing when you maximize your gun specialty, so easy to break a limb or explode the body

Do what I did, save a file you keep right before the end of the child section, so you can load up + leave (then given option to edit your character).

Bought it this morning, got a bit of gameplay on it. It's essentially Oblivion with guns, you can see they've even used the same animations in places. However, it's hawt. A lot harder to get into then Oblivion is (initially) as it's not guided through quite as well, to the point where I'm erasing my little file tomorrow and starting again with a specific character in mind.

    Either way,
    It's <3

Played a lot yesterday, saved when I first arrived in Rivet City. Got lost like, 10 times trying to reach the momument ._.

    this game is awesome!
its open world and really nonlinear. so non linear infact that you can skip through alot of the middle parts of the 'main quest' to get to the end.
it has dismemberment and gore! i really dont understand how most games dont have this.
without going too deep into the game stats mechanics, the only thing this game is missing to make it a perfect game in my eyes is a truely destructable environment.

BEST game in a LONG time
