here is my first time makin a template Plz rate it...i still duno how to slice or code.Any1 have tuts on them!
well since its your first. here we go first of all never use bevel in templates. it is a very bad effect, and pr0fessional templates would never have a bevel on them. also, you really overdid the shadows, there are shadows everywhere, try to make them more subtle. and remove a few. if you want to add text. just use a normal font that is also used on the web. like Arial or Times new Roman. try to use the Lorem Ipsum dummy text in stead of : "djsfjnssfkjsfsfks" try to vary in tools. everyone can see you only used 1 tool. The rounded Rectangular selection tool. its all the same, and to big. Like i said before, try to make the boxes some more subtle. The template itself is to large imo. it has some huge boxes, and the Sub-Line shouldnt touch the left navigation box. Maybe add some more colors to, and in stead of using the text PICTURE, add a picture, it spices up the preview. and it would look a lot better if you did. The buttons look really low quality, both of the bevel, and the fact that they aren't the same every one has a different spacing between them, and the text is different in every one of them to. Sometimes it hits the top of the button, sometimes the bottom. If you make buttons, or make similar boxes or something, make sure you duplicate them, and not make 4 different ones, because they wont be exactly the same. one last thing (sorry really.. sorry, i just keep on bullsh1tting :lol: ) if you make login boxes, just make them the same as the code would make it, you can alter some parts of it, like the background color, the text color in it, etc etc. but those rounded things dont look good. Dont let this discourage you from making templates though. just get reading some tuts, and you'll be fine.
