    Ok.

-Hey Bob, long time no see. How are the lil' ----s? Growing fast, arent they?

    --------------------------------------

Welcome to the Eye thread. In here, you can discuss your views about eyes on both sexes.

When you first notice a person, do you look at his/her eyes or do you just pass them and move on to their toes?

Btw, post any picture of beautiful eyes you can find.

    Here, i'll start :

    My eyes are blue.

    I'm deffinitly lucky.

In fact, science has prooved that people like blue eyes better, since it makes it easier to observe the dilation of the pupil of the eye.

    Something about eyes:

People seem better looking when their pupiles are dilatated. Try out this simple test:
    Which eye looks better?

The first one looks. That's predefined in the brain.

If you don't believe, look one minute at the first one, then look yourself at the mirrow: Your pupile will be dilatated, since your brain will think that the eye you're looking at likes you, and thus it will respond.

Then look at the second one, and look at the mirrow: Your pupile will look small.

So, people who are excited have their pupiles wide, people who aren't don't. If you're looking at a preety person, you're pupiles will get wider, and all who look for a while at you will have their pupiles wide too, because they think you like them, and their brain will respond.

Sorry for the wall and the crappy pictures.

And that's the reason why people who wear glasses in their heads look preety, because they appear they have two wide pupiles there, and the brain gets confused.

In short: Dilatated pupiles appear when you feel attracted to someone, and they make you look preety.

Blue eyes are normally preetier because they make this observation easier.

Sorry for the wall! Learned something new? I typed all of that btw.

The eyes are the key to the soul! :D

Yes. I've got to agree to that. Blue eyes are the most beautiful of them all.

I dont really know about the dialation thing though.

Take a look at Sarah Wayne Callies to get my point (the doctor starring in Prison Break)

She's a gorgeous woman, and she has beautiful eyes. But the pupils are not dialated.

I love eyes, they're wonderful and pretty much everyone's are unique and different. I don't have an eye color preference, though. I think they're all nice :)

Heh, my eyes are a REALLY dark brown, like really dark. Alot of people say to they just look like one big pupil. If you look alot closer though ya can see the faint brown-ness.

I like brown eyes also, im not really much for blue eyes tbh.

Thug, you're absolutely right, in roman times women used to put drops of "belladonna" in their eyes to make their pupils dilate because they thought it was prettier, and that's where it got the name (belladonna means beautiful woman) Anyways my eyes are ALWAYS dilated which is why I have perfect night vision ^_^

so your saying stonners are attractive?

and they had candle lite dinners because electricty wasnt invented then :P

your pupils dilate because they need to allow more light into the eye, and the pupil shrinks to stop too much light gettin in which could damage the eye, so why would the brain open the pupil in alot of light????

    it just doesnt make sense?

Stoners eyes aren't exaclty dilated, more kinda spaced out. But yes, dilated pupils are more attractive, naturally it's how our body reacts. I'll make a reference to my previous post about belladonna. And when they said "back then" he probably meant back when we had electricity and still ate at candle lit dinners :P
