Ok so I made this tutorial for soem one who was having problems installing Photoshop CS 2 with Imageready CS 2. This is a heavily graphic intence tutorial (14 pictures) so 56k users beware. This is my first ever tutorial so please leave comments if any one has any questiosn or problems with it! Sorry if theres some spelling and grammer erros, but keep in mind I spend over three hours making this tutorial and writing down the steps in notepad and then the computer restarted after reinstalling PS CS 2 automatically while I was talking to my parents, so I have to write all these steps from scratch.

1.) Ok first off were going to need to create a new folder which to extract the files and what-not too. I suggest making a new folder on your desk top by doing this: Right click on your desktop, select new, the select folder.

2.) Now you may rename the folder what ever you like, for this tutorial I chose the name "photoshop CS 2". Now look at the desktop and notice the new folder.

3.) Now you are going to want to opwn that folder by double clicking on it, and check to make sure its empty. I wouldnt recommend making it full screen.

4.) Now your install file is most likly compressed and you will need a program like winzip or winrar to open it. For this tutorial i will be using winRAR to decompress the file. So once you have double clciked on the compressed file it will open up what ever decompresser you choose to use. Like I said I chose winRAR for this tutorial.

5.) Now for the extraction process. For winRAR you need to highlight all the files and folders except the one named "...", for WinZip you need to highlight all the files and folders.

6.) Now drag and drop all the highlights files and folders into the empty folder, that we created, window. Now all the files should automitaclly extract their selfs to that location. Dont worry if this takes several moments, that is normal unless you have a extremly good and fast computer. Here is what you should see after the extraction process.

7.) Now we no longer need the decompressor/extractor program so feel free to close it out.

8.) Now we will begin installing Adobe Photoshop CS 2 with Imageready CS 2. To do this look through the fodler we created for a file named "Setup" or "Steup.exe". Once you have found that, double click on it.

9.) Now a window should come asking you for your perferred language. Seeing as how I speak english and live in North America, I will choose "North American English". Once you have chosen your language click "Ok".

10.) Now a new menu should come up witha few differnt options. The one we need to choose is "Install Photoshop CS 2", so click that.

11.) Now its time for good ol fashinoned Windows Install Sheild Wizard to get some action. When the box comes up just click yes...

12.) Well we have been blessed with another lisence agreement so as always click "I Accept" or "Yes" and move on...

13.) Now its time to choose differnt options. Fill out what you would like for your User Name and Orginization. For mine I used my name as my user anme, and my small busisness as my orginization. Now I chose to install the free trial version since that is what most people will have, but I do own the full version, so PM me if you need help isntalling the full version from this point on. After you have selected you options select "Next".

14.) Now it will ask you which file formats you would like Photoshop and Imageready to open. I left this as deafult, but you can change it if you wish.

15.) Now clcik next and it will install everything on its own. You may need to click "Finish" when its done installing, but I didn't have to my stupid computer automatically rebooted which caused me to write this over again.

Well there you go. You should now of installed Photoshop CS 2 with Imageready CS 2. I hope you enjoyed reading this tutorial and mabey even useing it. This is my first tutorial ever writtten so comments are appericated. Like I stated before I wrote this for a friend who was having trouble installing his photoshop.

Good work but it's really not difficult at all. Very few people would ever need to use a tutorial like this. Thanks anyways.
