If you're talking to me, I dont care.

And with your theory that you "may aswell believe in it incase it is true" means I should believe that everything is true until proved not. It also means that I should join ALL religions to make sure I get to heaven/whatever the alternative is.

    So umm... no?

Wow you're the idiot. I don't go to church often yet I am a Catholic. And what Dr. Agon said about you is way more correct than what you're trying to say.

me too, i studied religion for 2 years and Christians cant explain alot of these things. The bible hypocites itself alot. I have no time for religion, i can't see the point in believing in something that has no proof its true, that there is proof its not true. Religion is the main cause of war and only causes problems, arguements and fights. Lately i hav egot to the point where i absoultely hate religion and i really hate people that try to tell me that thier religion is right and im wrong not to believe in it. My beliefs ar emine and i do not believe there is a guy/gal up there watching me type this while allowing so many rapes, robberys, murders etc happen all over the world. Now dont give me all that ---- bout God had to create the bad people or anything like that cause it dont mean ---- to me. If there was a god then he would create it so all the probelms bad people cause and wouldnt cause if they werent around wouldnt matter and there would be no reason to fix them. Lifes a bitch and there is nothing to it. You get what you get and theres nothing else to it. Some people get more than others but i believe there is no one up there deciding what i will do tomoro.

Also Keller so ur saying if there is a god, cause i dont go to church im screwed? If so what happens if there was a god but his name was Allah, than i'd say you were pretty ----'ed

That's some genuine faith you have there.

    --------

Maybe I would believe in God if someone gave me a better reason than "Oh, trust us, he's there."

In the meantime, I'll be right by Richard Dawkins's side.

Thanks for posing these questions, but I have read some answers and they are filled with hypocrisy, and bs. I am Muslim, but some of the stuff in the bible are weird, and I assume they lost there messege through the years. That is why I like the Quran cause I know I am reading something that was actually written in the time or a few years after the time of Muhammad (pbuh). Unlike the bible which was changed many time through the years. I am still skeptical of religion, it is weird I am going through a kind of deciding age and I dont know if I am gonna contuine with my religion or just stop believing.

This is a good topic to look at, altough alot of things are wrong/ this person who wrote this has no idea what hes talking about. [/b][/quote]

Thats like saying, "I'm not going to get into an accident by driving onto on coming traffic because I have my eyes closed and dont see anything, therefore I will not get hurt"

^ Your last post, we have evidence that the Bible does not apply so your metaphor should be, "I see nothing that harm my way therefore I do not get my hurt"

I think your the dumbass, one minute your saying people are idoit's if they don't go to church and believe in God, but the later on in the thread, you put religion down by saying you finger yourself over it? Shows how much you believe, and how much an idiot you are as you claimed.
And btw heaven isn't actually a place up in the clouds, it's a state of mind. You don't live to go to heaven, you live to make heaven come here. It took me a while to wrap my head around it :S

Btw yeah i believe in God, but i'm a Catholic so i don't gotta answer =P Or i'm just lazy.

Since I am insane, and feel like I need to answer these, then I will answer every single question (unless it does not pertain to me). If I do not finish tonight, then expect it sometime tomorrow.

I do, however, believe that hardly any of you will hear what I say. If you are not willing to hear it, then don't say anything. I put it here and pray that someone will learn from what I have to say.

Just to warn you guys... this will be alot longer than the initial post.

yet who is he to judge a religion.

if he doesn't like it, go join islam or buddhism or scientology.

We are not in a religion for the flaws, we are in it for its beliefs, and what it represents.

Judge, and Lest ye be Judged. Thats somewhere in the bible. :)

Religion itself is self-destructive actually. They start wars and hating of other people that aren't praising their God. A misconception that a world religion=doom. If we see the animal kingdom, their species relationship are every mutual.
