You're about a jerk, ya know?

I don't have to answer a million questions. I don't need any of your permission to believe what I do. I don't have to prove anything. Even if I did, I don't have the time to answer a hundred questions. I do plenty of Bible questions in Bible class. If you SERIOUSLY want to know the answers go look it up. You don't want to know the answers. You want me to answer so you can tell me I'm wrong, or that I'm an idiot or something. People do this all the time, which is funny when I do actually take the time to answer they get frustrated and walk away. If there is a specific one you'd like me to answer, I will. However, until then I won't.

I only did 10 for now, i'll answer a little bit more later.

    1) Because Jesus was God in flesh. The sacrafice of Jesus was enough to clense the sins and undo the offense to God.
    2) Yes. But when Jesus died the Bible stated he desended to hell to recieve the just people who were sent there.
    3) Every religion has had crooked leaders and has done things immoral. Doesn't mean that we are all like that.
    4) Same thing a 3.
    5) Pretty much the same thing I said for 3.
    6) If you don't want to believe in God, don't. No ones trying to convince you.
    7) I read it and I don't think that means he is rasist. He just said he wanted to help the jews before anyone else. I don't know.
    8) To understand thease verses, you must understand the situation in which Paul and Timothy worked. In first century Jewish culture, women were not allowed to study. When Paul said women should learn "quiet and submissivley, he was offering them a new opportunity. Paul didn't want Ephesian women to teach because they did not yet have enough knowledge or experience at the time. The Ephesian church had a problem with false teachers. Evidentally, women were especially suseptible to false teachings because they did not yet have enough biblical knowledge to discern the truth.
    9) Many Christians at the time were slaves. This passage claims it would easy to submit to masters who were kind. But Peter encouraged loyalty in the face of unjust treatment. The idea was that doing what you are told weather to fair or unjust masters could win them to Christ.
    10) Deuteronomy 21:18-21 "This will keep the people of the land from teaching you their detestable customs in the worship of their gods, which would cause you to sin deeply against the Lord your God. 'When you are besieging a town and the war drags on, do not destroy the trees. Eat the fruit, but do not cut down the trees. They are not enemies that need to be attacked! But you may cut down trees that you know are not valuble to food. Use them to make equipment you need to besiege the town until it falls.'"

I don't see anything in there that refers to doing what your parents tell you, even though they are evil.

Proverbs 13:24 "Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave"

I still don't see anything that refers to parents.

Hebrews 12:7-8 "As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Whoever heard of a child who was not disciplined? If God doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children, it means you are illigitimate and not really his children after all."

Hebrews is asking what is worse, to let a child do what will harm him, or to discipline the child to help him do what is right.

Your right, thats one of the main reasons ive always liked Islam better, because at least they give credit to Jesus and all that (not meant to offend anyone, I like christians just fine. in fact my best friend is Christian). But like a few of them said, people who ask these questions really don't care what the answer is. I know that no matter what Rebel or Fry answer I'm not gonna suddenly believe in God. So why ask questions if you don't care what the answer is?

I'm not about a jerk, whatever that may mean.

You don't have to answer a million questions, just 150. You don't need permission to believe in what you do, because I don't care what you believe in honestly. You seem to have alot of time to post around here, I don't see why that combined time can't be put towards answering those questions. I want to hear the answers from a Christian, I'm a Jew and I have barely any knowledge on where to begin looking for the answers to those questions. I do want to know the answers, if there are any. The only one I see walking away from this is you.

Fry took the time to answer some of the questions and I appreciate that because I'm curious on how a Christian would answer.

I'm going out for most of the weekend. so you have plenty of time to answer.

look odds are if Fry took the time to answer every single question except #39 (random number) all you guys would see if he didn't know the answer to that question, because all this thread is meant to do is 'prove' that --------- isn't true

and if I posted 150 questions towards Athiests, trying to prove that athiests have no idea what they're talking about, would you spend all that time answering all those questions for a group that really doesn't care?

    I didnt think so

Okay, I like Fry will answer ten.

11: He gave us a free will to either choose or reject him. He can't accept imperfection. The only way he can accept us is through his son, Jesus Christ.

12: Not believing in Him. He created Heaven for his followers, why would he allow someone who totally rejects him? Or doesn't believe him? He shouldn't, and won't.

13: He is just. However, when you call on him he will be merciful. Our just reward is hell, because we have all sinned. But if you believe in Him, he forgives you your sins and has mercy on you.

14: The Old Testement does talk abit about possession, but the Old Testament was more for prophecy and history of the Jews. Unlike the New Testement which the beginnning is about Jesus' life. Today doctors can call it what they want, but it is impossible for a demon to posses a Christian, or in a place influenced by Christians. And whether you want to admit it or not, America has quite a few Christians.

15:Personality is in the soul?...I don't think I've ever heard that, or read it in the Bible. However, for the sake of argument, let's assume it's true. Well, the brain just transfers info. Like, your soul wants to do such and such, your brain being defected would interfer with your body being able to do it.

16: God takes away your pain. Takes away all tears, sickness, etc. Your family is fellow Christians. Spiritual family.

17: We don't know all of it. However, the streets are made of gold, there is the tree of life which gives diffrent fruits in diffrent seasons, the river of life. Not much is said, because that isn't important.

18: Fire and brimstone. Sulfer. It burns pretty bad, I'd imagine.

19: The Bible clearly says that your sins WILL effect others. Your children and following generations.

20: It won't, and if you read the Bible you'll know that getting baptized is ONLY a symbol. Only getting baptized will only get you wet, nothing more.

lol @ the biased Christian. I don't believe in God, so I'm automatically an idiot? How very ironic of you to say that. Give one good reason why I should believe in God. I'd rather have my own beliefs than go by the rules of some book anyone could have written.

your a dumbass, the point is, if you sit here and preach how you don't think god is real, than your ----ed if it turns out he is. Might as well believe something in hopes of it being right than being sent to hell.
