Erasing Logo's From Renders

Is it possible to erase a logo like ign.com's logo from their pictures in photoshop like in these pictures on this post?

his look very profesional compared to others i have seen with just smudging away carelessly

 

Actually i looked at his and he just cut the logo right off so the picture is shortened but is there still a way to do it without cutting the logo out? if anyone knows ill be really appreciative

 

I think the Clone Stamp Tool might do it.

But there is a lot of detail under the words, so it would be kind of hard, and look wierd. If it was, say, one color, it would be much easier.

 

yeah the clone stamp tool is the best way, but it can be hard to do a really good job.

 

Mm, Nope. If you look you can see he just cut it out of the picture.

 

You could use clone stamp, smudging or brushing (or just cut the text out of the picture )
