Not at all.. These are small protons.. Even if they made a black hole I doubt it would have the gravitational power such as ones created by collapsed stars. And plus if this experiment does kill us, then oh well.

This is whats going to happen.

    it goes on

some new stuff might be created

and the scientist involved get a noble prize :)

But in reality this will either change how we look and do things or destroy us.

the time any possible side effect-mistake black holes exist would have a negligible effect on us imo :/

my issue is with the whole subject of experimenting with wormholes/time/space topics. one of the proposed experiments had to do with sending micro bacteria through microscopic wormholes they'd generate. in theory, thats year 0 for time travel. (sorry kids, we can't go back to the dinosaurs, no wormholes on earth back then) so to be a massive paranoid nerd, if in the future, people could travel in time, that would be the earliest moment they could come to. kinda trippy to think about for too long so i don't. lol

p.s. @ that article... "Sceptics have filed suits in the US District Court in Hawaii and the European Court of Human Rights to stop the project. They claim the experiment will create a big black hole which could suck up all life on Earth."

    ---- "SCEPTICS" ?! massive failure.

Apparently they started up this piece of equipment today, but they didn't do any collisions yet LOL They said 4 more days. Maybe they got cold feet :P
